Graeme & Lucille Simpson are your hosts at Lake Vista. We have moved to Queenstown from Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand after running an Import and Distribution business for many years.

We were looking for a different pace of life - We have found it in running a Bed and Breakfast here in beautiful Queenstown New Zealand.

Regularly traveling to Trade Fairs buying goods for the company has taken us to many places around the world in the past, but we decided it was time for a change of pace and slow down a bit. Bed & Breakfast seemed the answer.

We enjoy entertaining and meeting new people and of course traveling on vacation ourselves. We both enjoy Skiing, having been members of a Mt. Ruapehu Ski club in the North Island of N.Z. for many years. Moving to Queenstown means it is now much easier to enjoy that sport with two wonderful ski fields on our doorstep and two more within a short drive.

Since moving here, we have completely refurbished and redecorated the Bed and Breakfast from top to bottom so it is now looking great. We are always pleased when we get great comments left by our guests. The panoramic views in the header above of Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables ranges from all our rooms certainly impress all our visitors.

Queenstown is one of the most scenic areas in the world and certainly the best in the Southern Hemisphere. Situated in the lower South Island of New Zealand on Lake Wakatipu in amongst some of the most beautiful Mountains in the world, this magic place can take your breath away. There are so many Queenstown outdoor activities to see and do here, it is unbelievable.
